10NL guidelines.
  wurzelbrumpft, Oct 21 2009

yeah... i played 11.913 hands at 10NL now and im up exactly 40c. is it just me or is there quite a difference between 5NL and 10NL. everyone seems to play exactly like me, really nitty. isnt that the way you beat microstakes or is there something one has to do differently at 10NL?

holdem manager/pt3 config
  wurzelbrumpft, Oct 13 2009

for 2 hours nowim messing around trying to get either one of them to work. i read all the manuals i can find but my problem isnt answered anywhere. i also made a post in the pt3 forums but they couldnt help me. i use pokerstars and configured it properly, my hand history folder is full of .txt documents with my hands in them. pt3 and holdem manager recognize pokerstars and they also recognize all the .txt documents but they dont extract any hands. i tried automatic and manual hand extract but nothing works, i only get the message 85files found(the .txt documents), but 0 hands extracted. i reinstalled both of the programs twice but that didnt help. any ideas what im doing wrong?

what am i doing wrong
  wurzelbrumpft, Sep 13 2009

the last week ive been playing only NL5 about 12k hands and my bankroll is exactly -1$ from where i started a week ago. i read the low stakes poker hand threads here and read the microstakes guide someone posted in my last blog. im applying the stuff said in there, my vpip is always between 17-20%, i win about 60% of my showdowns and i dont know what im doing wrong. after most 1k hand sessions i still sit at every table with my original buy-in take or give 1$. maybe its my betting pattern, but i couldnt find much more advice than bet strong if you have the best hand. could anyone recommend me articles about betting patterns at microstakes, or give me some little more specific advice on how and which amounts to bet?

thanks in advance to everyone who replies.
